Section of Bridge Drive West to close to traffic Monday and Tuesday

A popular travel route will be closed Monday and Tuesday, weather permitting, says the City of Lethbridge.

In fact, a section of Bridge Drive West was scheduled to be shut down early to traffic at 5 this morning to allow for road maintenance.

Businesses and the recycling depot on Bridge Drive will stay open.

Drivers are being urged to use either Whoop-Up Drive or Highway 3 to get around the closure.

If everything goes according to plan, it should re-open by 5:00 Tuesday afternoon.
