Future growth, infrastructure discussed at extended Community Issues Committee meetings

Next month’s 2027 City of Lethbridge budget deliberations will have more focus after almost two full days of discussion and public engagement. 

The sessions, held Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, centred around the City’s Capital Improvement Plan, a template for future projects and infrastructure. 

It should be noted that no decisions were made, although there’s likely a clearer path of direction on the part of Council.

The CIP covers the years 2027 through 2036.
