City of Lethbridge rescinds fire ban for River Valley effective immediately

The City of Lethbridge has lifted an earlier campfire ban for the River Valley, effective immediately. 

It says recent precipitation, including light snow on the weekend, and cooler temperatures were able to reduce the fire danger. 

Although the risk has been lowered, Lethbridge Fire & Emergency Services reminds you to keep fires small and supervised at all times. 

It also strongly suggested to never have a fire when winds are 30 kilometres-an-hour or stronger.
