Former U of L graduate to be honoured with distinction from alumni association

A former national broadcaster and member of public office will be recognized by the University of Lethbridge as part of this Friday night’s Alumni Achievement Awards.

Indira Naidoo-Harris has been chosen by the University of Lethbridge Alumni Association for the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award.

Association president Cyndi Crane says the accolade follows, not only a career in journalism and elected office, but her commitment to public service.

“Naidoo-Harris is also respected on the national and international stage,” said a statement provided by the university.
