Investigation underway into downtown Lethbridge unit blaze

An investigation continues into a fire over the long weekend inside a downtown Lethbridge building.

Crews were called out to a third floor unit in the 100-block of 5th Street South during the lunch hour Saturday.

24 firefighters from four stations responded, and were quickly able to put out the blaze, confining damage to the lone suite.

One person was taken to hospital to be checked out.
