City of Lethbridge marks Waste Reduction Week

It’s Waste Reduction Week in the City of Lethbridge.

Underway until Friday, the City urging is residents to do their part in diverting waste from the landfill, including sorting electronics and recyclable items.

It’s also putting on another Compost Giveaway event Wednesday afternoon from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting, in the east parking lot at VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

There’ll also be information on the new guidelines and products being accepted in the newly-expanded Extended Producer Responsibility program.
