LSCO and Elder Abuse Network behind publishing of free 2027 calendar

The Lethbridge Elder Abuse Response Network or LEARN is, once again, putting out its annual Senior Safety Calendar. 

Kaitlynn Weaver with the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization says the calendars include information on elder abuse, physical and emotional.  

Sadly, but more importantly, it also provides seniors with crucial contact information in the event that abuse takes place.

“Some folks can’t take a (business) card because that might put them in danger, like take a card from some of our elder abuse case manager staff, so by having a calendar, it’s a bit more anonymous.”
