B.C.’s Interior Health has issued a Drug Alert for the Cranbrook region after multiple overdoses were reported in recent weeks.
The toxic drug, in question, can be sold as down, dope, tranq, or fentanyl and is usually in a red chunk form.
The concern is over a high amount or combined amounts of Medetomodine, Ethylflualprazolam, and/or Fentanyl.
Medetomidine, for example, is a very strong tranquilizer and can slow a person’s breathing or heart rate.
