Canes end four game road stand, beaten by three goals in less than six minutes in third period

The Lethbridge Hurricanes wrapped up an extended four game road swing Wednesday night on a losing note, falling 4-1 to the Edmonton Oil Kings in WHL play.

The Canes’ Dayne Beuker scored his 11th goal of the season just before the seven-minute mark of the third period to tie the game at one.

The Oil Kings, however, opened things up scoring three times in a span of 5:43, including an empty netter, to take the game.

The Canes are home Friday for a match-up against the Red Deer Rebels, in a season series where each team has won once.
