Two people arrested and charged with drug-related crimes in north Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE – Two people have been arrested and charged, after an ALERT (Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team) a search warrant was executed in Lethbridge’s BlackWolf neighborhood December 6, 2018.

In conjunction with the organized crime and gang team, police recovered 81 grams of cocaine and nearly 38 grams of crack cocaine worth nearly $12,000 combined.

Police also seized $3,500 in cash and two vehicles. 

Acting Staff Sgt. Rod Pastoor says getting dangerous drugs like cocaine off the streets is a top priority.

“We’re glad we were able to take action in this case to contribute to the safety of our community.”

25-year-old Peter Ntigee has been charged with three counts of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.

23-year-old Stevie Campbell has been charged with four counts of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.

Pastoor says the two will make their next court appearances in Lethbridge January 10, 2019.
