Bulls extend win streak to six

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — The Lethbridge Bulls improved their record to 6-0 with a 4-2 win over the defending champion Swift Current 57s Wednesday, June 7.
Outfielder Brock Frentzel hit 2-for-3, batting in three of the Bulls’ four runs. Catcher Carter Witbeck of Raymond also went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Greg Hallman was the winning pitcher, allowing one run on seven hits in seven full innings. Closer Chris Stodolka gave up a solo home run to Keil Krumwiede in the ninth but earned the save.
The Bulls will attempt to extend their winning streak to seven games Thursday, June 8 when they host the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Game time is 7:05 p.m. at Spitz Stadium.
