RCMP looking for man accused of pointing a gun at passing vehicle near Wrentham

WRENTHAM, AB – The Raymond/Magrath RCMP are looking for the public’s help to find a man accused of pointing a gun at the driver of a vehicle.

On Mar. 30, police responded to a complaint of a firearm being pointed at a person in the rural area just west of Wrentham, near Highway 61.

A preliminary report revealed that a vehicle was stopped along a rural road and was partially blocking traffic.

According to police, as another vehicle approached the driver noticed the driver side door on the parked car was open with a man inside. He then proceeded to point a long barrel firearm at the driver of the passing vehicle.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a red, older model pick up truck, possibly a Dodge or Ford while the man is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’11 and wearing dark grey clothing.
