Public Invited to EMS open house events

SOUTH ZONE –  May 28- June 3 is National Paramedic week, and this year’s theme is “Always in Service.”
 
EMS providers across the province are celebrating in a number of ways, including hosting open houses.
 
All events will feature interactive ambulance tours and demonstrations of medical equipment, including life-sized mannequins that are used for training purposes.
 
The purpose of the open houses is to help the public better understand the importance of Emergency Medical Services within the healthcare system, and within local communities.
 
Here is a list of the open houses:
 

• Sunday, May 28 – Coaldale – Noon – 4 pm, RI Baker Middle School, 2112 13 Street
• Monday, May 29 – Cardston – 11 am – 3 pm, Carriage Lane Market, 555 Main Street
• Tuesday, May 30 – Fort Macleod – Noon – 3 pm, Hansen Family Foods, 322 24 Street
• Wednesday, May 31 – Raymond – 11 am – 2 pm, ATB/Snow’s Pharmacy parking lot, 55 Broadway Street North
• Friday, June 2 – Milk River – 10 am – 1 pm, Town Office, 240 Main Street
• Saturday, June 3 – Crowsnest Pass – 11 am – 3pm, IGA, 11001 20 Avenue
