OTTAWA — Canada’s national inflation rate was 1.3 per cent in July, Statistics Canada says. Here’s what happened in the provinces and territories (previous month in brackets):

— Newfoundland and Labrador: 3.4 per cent (2.4)

— Prince Edward Island: 0.6 (1.1)

— Nova Scotia: 0.8 (1.2)

— New Brunswick: 2.5 (1.8)

— Quebec: 0.2 (0.6)

— Ontario: 1.5 (1.7)

— Manitoba: 1.5 (2.1)

— Saskatchewan: 1.1 (1.4)

— Alberta: 0.7 (1.3)

— British Columbia: 2.1 (2.0)

— Whitehorse, Yukon: 0.8 (1.2)

— Yellowknife, N.W.T.: 0.8 (0.9)
