Cable repair leads to road closure

A power cable repair is causing a traffic disruption on the west side of Lethbridge.

Traffic is being rerouted around Bridge Drive W. to the Highway 3 and 25 interchange, Wednesday, Nov. 16 and Thursday, Nov. 17 while crews fix a main underground feeder cable.

The cable was cut during excavation work earlier this week, knocking out power to some areas.

Bridge Drive is expected to reopen Thursday evening.
