RCMP investigating fatal collision north of Okotoks

OKOTOKS, AB – The Okotoks RCMP, with assistance from an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, is looking into a fatal Wednesday night collision north of the town.

According to a notice from the RCMP, the three-vehicle collision occurred about three kilometres north of the town on Highway 2A.

One person died as a result of the collision. Highway 2A southbound was blocked off and traffic was diverted while crews were on scene. The northbound lanes remained open.

The RCMP said that no further details will be released at this time regarding the persons or vehicles involved.
