Police Resolve Emergency Weapons Complaint on South Side – Investigation Ongoing

LETHBRIDGE –  A police emergency in the 1100 block of 13 Street South on Saturday night wrapped up just before 9:00 and the lock down for the area was lifted. 

Around 6:30 p.m. police were called to the area after they received a report of a man carrying firearms concealed in a bag.  Police responded and cordoned off the area.

Two adult men were taken into custody and were held for questioning.   No charges have been laid and no firearms have been recovered as of yet, as police contiue to investigate.
