Ride to Horizon has Sights Set on $20,000 Goal

BRAGG CREEK – Foothills MP John Barlow and his team are once again taking on the 200-km journey from the Crowsnest Pass to the Bar U Ranch, in support of Easter Seals Camp Horizon.

The camp welcomes 1500 children with disabilities each summer to enjoy a week of camp. It has recently taken on an ambitious $10-million fundraising effort to fix up its dorms.

“Easter Seals Camp Horizon is an incredible facility and we are blessed to have it in our community. The Ride to Horizon raises funds for the critical infrastructure improvements at the camp, but it also raises awareness about this important amenity in southern Alberta,” noted Barlow.

This year’s goal for the ride is to double last year’s total to $20-thousand.

The riders should arrive at Camp Horizon by Saturday afternoon.
