Driver Sustains Minor Injuries in Semi Rollover Near the Crowsnest Pass

BURMIS – Pincher Creek RCMP are at the scene of a semi tractor trailer rollover collision on Highway 3, about 100 metres west of Highway 507 in the Burmis area.

The semi was the only vehicle involved, with police saying the driver suffered minor injuries. They also noted that the damage is being contained and there is no environmental concern.

The highway has been reduced to one lane and traffic is backed-up a significant distance in both directions.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes, with police estimating about three hours to clear the scene.
