Blood Tribe Police Recover Stolen Property – Still Searching for Suspects

STANDOFF:  The Blood Tribe Police Service (BTPS) has recovered a cache of stolen property but, need the public’s help tracking down thieves.

There  have been six break and enters reported over the last two weeks on the Reserve, which is three times the number reported over the previous two weeks . 

Blood Tribe police attribute the increased theft activity to highly addictive drugs such as Fentanyl. 

Officers recovered about $4500 worth of tools that were stolen from a construction site in standoff on Monday, (July 25th). However, there are other stolen items unaccounted for (tap photo above).

The suspects in the thefts were seen driving a stolen White Ford Ranger bearing an Alberta license BMG 9441.

BTPS asks the public to be on the lookout for vehicle and to report any suspicious activity to police.
