More Funding Available for Growing Forward 2 Programs

ALBERTA – More funding is available for producers under Growing Forward 2 programs including On-Farm Energy Management, On-Farm Solar, and On-Farm Stewardship.

This is a great opportunity for producers considering environmental projects this summer.

These programs cover things like riparian area fencing, off-stream water systems, low or energy-free winter livestock waterers, upgrading buildings for energy efficiencies, and other initiatives, including solar capital cost incentives.

Growing Forward 2 is a five-year policy framework for Canada’s agricultural and agri-food sector. It includes a $3-billion investment by federal, provincial and territorial governments.
