LETHBRIDGE:  The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is celebrating a job well done after completing its 9th annual Coulee Clean-up.

In total, 68 areas around Lethbridge got special attention from more than 940 volunteers. Over 350 bags of trash were collected.

The following areas had the most trash come out:

Stonecrest Point Riverstone – 31 bags

Whoop Up – 27 bags

Bridge Drive – 25 bags

U of L Behind Print Shop – 24 bags

Indian Battle Park Coulee – 15 bags

That being said, the Centre notes about 30 more areas are still in need of attention. If you’re interested, you can contact Curtis Goodman at 403-320-3064 to get involved.
