First Community Engagement Session for City’s Transit Master Plan A Success
LETHBRIDGE – A considerable crowd had their say Thursday night (June 16), at a Community Engagement Session for the city’s Transit Master Plan.
It was the first of several in-person opportunities to exchange ideas around the future of transit services in Lethbridge.
Residents were able to provide written comments on bristol board sheets and speak with project officials about the current transit service; identifying gaps in infrastructure and service standards, suggesting route revisions and brainstorming on strategies to increase ridership.
Conrad Westerson, Project Manager, said that the public discussions will provide clear direction for improvements to be implemented within a 20 year timeframe.
