ALBERTA – Two Calgary men have been charged in a significant fraud and theft, dating back to 2006 and 2007 in the Crowsnest Pass.
It’s alleged that 68-year old William Lloyd Bradley and 49-year old Colin Joseph Becker unlawfully diverted investor funds raised by Bridgecreek Development Corporation, for a proposed real-estate development at Crowsnest Lake.
The financial loss to more than 800 investors is pegged at $33-million.
Because of the scope and complexity of the case, the RCMP received help in their investigation from several accounting and financial groups, as well as the FBI in the US.
