LETHRBIDGE:  The 5th annual Tanner Craswell and Mitch Maclean Memorial Game is set for this (Wednesday) evening at 7:05 at Spitz Stadium.

The Lethbridge Bulls and Vauxhall Acadamy of Baseball will play a pre-season game in memory of the players killed in a December 2011 murder-suicide, in a highway shooting outside Claresholm.  The shooting also claimed the life of friend Tabitha Stepple.

Craswell, a WMBL All-Star shortstop, was with the Bulls from 2009 to 2011. MacLean was a Bulls infielder and Bulls Rookie of the Year for the 2011 season. Both players won the Canadian College Baseball Conference Championship in 2011.

All funds raised go towards the memorial fund set up in the players names to provide scholarships to baseball players that want to play in Southern Alberta, with an emphasis on players from the maritimes.
