Vehicle Flips Following Collision in South Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE – A two vehicle collision tied up rush hour traffic heading out of the city on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Mayor Magrath Drive and 28th Avenue South.

Witnesses tell Lethbridge News Now that a dark red Pontiac ran a red light heading south on Mayor Magrath Dr., striking a brown Kia that was heading west on 28 Ave. with a green light.

Police and emergency crews shut down one lane of Mayor Magrath Dr. at 28th Avenue, as well as traffic going through the intersection.
