AAA Hurricanes improve to 2-0 at Telus Cup

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Lethbridge AAA Hurricanes are off to a good start at the Telus Cup.
Lethbridge defeated the Moncton Flyers 2-0 Tuesday, April 24. All the scoring came in the first period, with goals by Dylan Nevil and Zack Stringer.
Goaltender Byron Fancy turned away 24 shots for the shutout.
The win follows a 2-1 victory Monday over the host Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves. At 2-0, the ‘Canes are tied for with the Notre Dame Hounds and Magog Cantonniers. The top four teams in the preliminary round will advance to the semi-finals.
