Hurricanes Coach and GM Optimistic About the Future
LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Hurricanes head coach and general manager spoke to the media Wednesday morning, following a disappointing first round exit from the WHL playoffs.
The Canes lost in five games to the Regina Pats, getting blown out 7-2 in the final contest.
Five days after that loss, head coach Brent Kisio was upbeat when talking about the 2015-2016 season, “We did a lot of good things, I think we had to go through the pain of losing to hopefully go through the joy of winning.”
“Foundation wise we have some real good young guys coming up, Jordy Bellerive and Brett Davis and Nick Watson from this year, have a lot of years left in this league and are going to be key parts of the Hurricanes,” continued Kisio. “Calen Addison as well and Josh Tarzwell, so there’s real good pieces. There’s some older guys as well returning that are real good players, real good people and are going to be real good leaders for us.”
