Coalhurst Firefighters Battle Another Grass Fire

COALHURST:   There is a reason Lethbridge County remains under a Fire Advisory. In spite of recent rain, warmer temperatures and a gusty wind will dry out the ground very quickly.

On Tuesday afternoon, Coalhurst Firefighters did battle in the gusty wind with a grass fire just outside of the town. The fire burned an extensive area of land along the railway tracks and right up to properties.

It took firefighters several hours to completely extinguish the blaze, which is still under investigation
