SOUTHERN ALBERTA – It was the luck of the draw for one local university student.

The Rotary Club of Lethbridge partnered up with the Keho Park Golf Club this weekend (April 3) for The Great Rotary Golf Ball Drop.

One-thousand tickets were sold to match numbers on one-thousand golf balls. They were then dropped over one of the holes from a hovering helicopter.

Owner of Flexahopper Plastics Ltd., Bill Spenceley, designed, built and donated the ball dropper. Alex Bahlsen piloted the helicopter. (Pictured above)
