Lethbridge Man Among Those Arrested in Medicine Hat Drug bust

MEDICINE HAT:  A city man was amongst a trio arrested in a Medicine Hat drug bust.

An ALERT team wrapped up a one-month drug trafficking investigation on Wednesday, with a seizure at a Medicine Hat home. Officers seized $35,000 in cash and drugs, including cocaine, crack, methamphetamine and marijuana, along with prohibited brass knuckles

Graham Groeneveld, 57, of Lethbridge, was arrested with a 40-year old man and a 25 year old woman from Medicine Hat, who face charges for possession, trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon,

Groeneveld faces charges for possession of a controlled substance and possession of proceeds of crime. He will be in Medicine Hat court on April 28th.
