Speed to be Reduced on Whoop-Up Dr Overnight

LETHBRIDGE – The speed limit on Whoop-Up Drive will be reduced to 50-km/h from 10-pm tonight (Tuesday) until 6-am Wednesday, March 30.

The city will be taking care of street sweeping on the route during that time, and the reduction is for the safety of all drivers and workers.

You are reminded to slow down, use extra caution when approaching workers or slow moving equipment, and leave additional space between vehicles in front of you.
