Mar 27, 2016 | 9:05 AM

LETHBRIDGE – It will be the trip of a lifetime for six students this summer.

The City of Lethbridge is once again looking for participants for the annual Saint-Laurent Student Exchange.

To be eligible you must be:

– 14 to 16-years old as of June

– a Lethbridge resident

– willing to host a student from Saint-Laurent in your home for a week, and stay in your “twin’s” home for one week

Lethbridge’s exchange will be from June 29th to July 6th. They’ll then travel to Saint-Laurent, Quebec, which is a borough of the city of Montreal, from August 3rd to 10th.

The two communities became twin cities in 1967. The arrangement was part of a Canadian Centennial project to promote cultural and social relationships between the east and west.

Deadline for applications is Friday, April 22 at noon. Students interested in participating can visit the city’s website for more information.
