Construction of Henderson Lake Swimming Pool On Schedule

LETHBRIDGE – Construction of the Henderson Lake Swimming Pool is moving along nicely.

Project Coordinator Ashley Matthews says the weather has cooperated very well and the project is on schedule.

He points out that the two big waterslides are currently being constructed at the site and they are scheduled to be finished by the end of March. All the mechanical work is already done and the electrical work will be completed by the first week of April. Matthews adds the spray park area should also be complete by the middle of April.

The site will also feature a large main pool with a soft floor and zero depth entry so it simulates a lake type atmosphere . The deep end will have a drop slide, climbing wall and diving board. As well, the city is creating a larger grass area for people to enjoy.
