Case of Dal student charged with first-degree murder due in Halifax court
HALIFAX — The lawyer for a Dalhousie University student charged with first-degree murder in the death of another student will be in court today to apply for search warrants in the ongoing case.
William Sandeson’s defence attorney is seeking warrant documents that have been sealed by the Crown.
Sandeson was charged with the murder of Taylor Samson on Aug. 20, 2015, and ordered to stand trial following a preliminary hearing in Halifax.
Samson, a fellow Dalhousie University student, was last seen days earlier but his body has not been found.
