Lethbridge County Issues Fire Advisory

LETHBRIDGE:   A Fire Advisory has been issued for Lethbridge County until further notice, due to the dry and windy conditions.

Residents of the County are asked to postpone burning activities until the Advisory is lifted.

However, if burning can’t be put off, residents need to constantly monitor fires and follow regulations under the Fire Permit bylaw #1424 or the issued BurnIng Permit.

If a fire gets out of control, 911 should be called immediately.

The County may impose a Fire Ban, if the windy, dry conditions continue.
