Hurricanes Chart 3rd Loss in a Row
CALGARY: For the second time in a week, the Lethbridge Hurricanes tally a loss to the Calgary Hitmen.
After posting a 6-2 loss to the Hitmen on home ice on Wednesday, the Hurricanes were defeated by the Hitmen 3-2 in Calgary Saturday night. The loss was the third in a row, after the Canes lost 4-2 to the Portland Winterhawks on Friday night in Lethbridge.
The Hitmen spread out their scoring with one goal in each period and out-shot the Hurricanes 38 to 27. The Canes didn’t make it onto the scoreboard until 7:46 of the second frame, when Ryan Vandervlis put one through the pipes.
Cory Millette had the Canes second goal and the final of the game in the third period, assisted by Carter Folk and Darian Skeoch. Jayden Sittler was in goal for the Hurricanes.
