Alberta Pork Recall
LETHBRIDGE: Health officials say 16 people in the greater Calgary area have gotten sick from E. coli in recent weeks as investigators work to nail down the source of the bacteria.
Alberta Health Services says four of the 16 people have been hospitalized, but are now recovering.
The sick range in age from less than one year of age to 74 and became ill between November 25th and February 2nd.
Details of the outbreak come after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced a recall of some raw pork products in the region due to possible E. coli contamination.
