Crossings Complex Naming Rights Determined

LETHBRIDGE – ATB Financial has been given the naming rights for Lethbridge’s Crossings Complex.

Of five potential sponsors, ATB was the only one that didn’t back out.

The five year agreement comes with a list of benefits for both the city and the company.

Among these include interior and exterior signage, a kiosk for information, exclusively ATB bank machines and the chance to review benefits annually and renegotiate if necessary. All benefits take effect when Phase 1 opens to the public.

The cost of the benefits will be initially funded from the sale of the sponsorship. Any remaining proceeds will go toward reducing operational costs of the complex.

Over the course of five years, ATB will put $402,800 toward the facility. Contributions for the first three years will reflect the Crossing’s staggered opening, and go up to $125-thousand once the facility is fully operational.

The official name of the facility will be determined at a later date.
