FORT MACLEOD — RCMP in Fort Macleod are investigating a brazen heist from the back of a flatbed truck over the weekend.
It happened sometime on Oct. 15 or 16, on a service road along Highway 3 East near the Oldman River bridge in Fort Macleod. Police believe someone pulled up a pickup truck behind the larger construction vehicle, blocking the view. The culprits took chains, boomers, a slip tank fuel pump, and roughly 800 litres of diesel fuel.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Macleod RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
