BRAGG CREEK — RCMP are investigating after someone injured a mountain biker in southern Alberta by stringing barbed wire across a trail.
The cyclist was clotheslined by the wire while riding down a hill and suffered a severe cut to his neck Wednesday near Bragg Creek west of Calgary.
He was thrown from the bike and crashed into a large rock.
Police say a friend took the man to hospital for medical treatment after removing the wire that was tied between some trees.
