Fire ban in the river valley issued for Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE – With heat warnings in effect for the Lethbridge area, the City of Lethbridge has issued a river valley fire ban on all open fires until further notice.

On Tuesday, July 17, the City issued the statement citing the dry and hot weather, also adding this ban includes the use of fire pits and camp stoves in the river bottom.
