Lethbridge College Seeking Input on Outstanding Alumni

LETHBRIDGE – As Lethbridge College gears up for its 60th anniversary next year, the college is looking to recognize some of its best alumni through various awards.

Nominations are now open for outstanding alumni who will be recognized at the 2017 Honouring Excellence event.

Any of the more than 30,000 college graduates, of any age and in any field, are eligible to be nominated for one of four Honouring Excellence awards, based on their work in their careers, in the community and in the college.

To be considered for these awards, nominees must have graduated from Lethbridge Junior College, Lethbridge Community College or Lethbridge College or by the nature of the program transferred to another institution to complete his or her studies.

Those who completed trades programs or apprenticeship training at Lethbridge College are also eligible.

Deadline for nominations is Jan. 9, 2017.

Submissions will be reviewed by the Lethbridge College Honouring Excellence committee and award recipients will be notified no later than Jan. 16, 2017.

The Honouring Excellence event to recognize all award recipients will be held on April 27, 2017 at Lethbridge College.
