Teen at out of control Halloween party pleads guilty to assaulting a peace officer
LETHBRIDGE, AB – An 18-year-old man from Brooks, Alta. involved in an out of control Halloween party near La Cite Des Prairies last October, has pleaded guilty to one count of assaulting a peace officer.
Peyton Thomas Kale Many Shots received a five-month conditional sentence order, half of which will be served as house arrest, and the other half, with a curfew. He was also ordered to complete 40 hours of community service. He must abstain from alcohol and drugs and not possess any weapons for the duration of his sentence.
According to facts admitted to the court April 30, on October 28, 2018 a Lethbridge Police Officer attended a location south of the area the party was taking place, complaining that a handgun had been waived at him. The person got into the back of the police vehicle for protection, while the constable went to deal with what was called an unruly crowd of anywhere from 140 to 160 people.
