$50,000 in stolen property recovered by Lethbridge Police

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A 44-year-old man from Lethbridge has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance, after a recent Lethbridge Police Investigation.

Police say $50,000 worth of stolen property has been recovered after a short investigation and search warrant was executed April 30, 2019. The items were found in a garage located just outside of city limits and included a 31-foot travel trailer, a motorcycle, a flat bed utility trailer, boat and trailer, a generator, tires, snow blower, and some tools and equipment.

Police also found a small quantity of methamphetamine.

Shawn Davis Olsen has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court May 3.
