LPS investigating south side home invasion

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Local police are looking for information after a home invasion late last month where two armed men forced their way into a home on the south side of Lethbridge.

According to police, just before midnight on May 26, they responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence along the 400 block of 27 Street South.

Officers determined that two unknown men armed with firearms forced the door open and then confronted the two women inside about the whereabouts of a male associate.

After searching the home, the subjects fled, but the women weren’t injured. The investigation into this incident is currently ongoing.

The first suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’7” with a scrawny build and dark brown hair. He was dressed all in black and had a backpack.

The second suspect is described as Caucasian with darker skin, a larger build and dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was also dressed all in black and had a backpack. Both suspects displayed firearms.
