Alberta Fish and Wildlife Enforcement says 34 snow geese were found dead around 10 km south of Warner at the end of Range Road 17-3.

They received the report on April 25th.

The animals were found inside four garbage bags, “abandoned and wasted”.

“While snow geese may be hunted during the spring season from March 15 to June 15, all geese must be used and the edible flesh cannot be wasted or abandoned,” says Alberta Fish and Wildlife Enforcement in a social media post.
