$71,605 in grants given to groups in Lethbridge County

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge County has awarded grants to six non-profits in the rural areas surrounding the city.
This includes:
- McNally Community Association: $20,000 for a heating replacement project
- Monarch Community Association: $17,005 for community hall upgrades
- Kinsmen Club of Coaldale: $10,000 for renovations and enhancements at Eastview Park
- Friends of St. Joseph’s School Council: $10,000 for playground upgrades and redevelopment
- Turin Community Club: $8,800 for security and storage upgrades at the community centre
- Coulee Winds Saddle Club: $5,800 for arena repairs and upgrades
Reeve Lorne Hickey says these groups play an important role in making their communities an excellent place to live.
