Police identify suspects in group assaul

Lethbridge Police looking for six suspects involved with weekend assault

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Outside of Boss Hogs Country Saloon at 2:36 am on Saturday, August 17th, a group of unknown men allegedly attacked a 25-year-old man.

The victim was reportedly outside the bar with a woman and got involved in a confrontation with the men. The detachment reports that the suspects attacked him and fled in a white vehicle.

The man who was assaulted was taken to hospital and treated for head injuries and was later released.

Upon further investigation, police have determined that six people were involved in the altercation, three of which where involved physically.

They are described as follows:

Subject 1:
• Caucasian Male
• Approximately 6’0
• Medium/Athletic build
• Brown hair

Subject 2:
• Male with darker skin
• Approximately 5’9”
• Thin build
• Dark hair

Subject 3:
• Caucasian Male
• Approximately 5’10”
• Thin build
• Brown hair

Subject 4:
• Caucasian Male
• Approximately 6’0
• Athletic Build
• Brown hair

The fifth suspect is believed to be a Caucasian man, although there is no description of the sixth man.

“There is no evidence to suggest the subjects are in any way associated to the Supervised Consumption Site contrary to initial speculation on social media,” reads a press release from Lethbridge Police Service.
