Fire advisory for Lethbridge County lifted

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Due to cooler temperatures and wetter conditions lately, Lethbridge County no longer believes that a heightened risk of fires exists.
The advisory was first issued on August 2nd.
Should things change, the County says they may issue a new fire advisory or ban at any time.
Fire advisories are still in effect for the MD of Pincher Creek, Waterton Lakes National Park, MD of Taber, Vulcan County, and the County of Newell. Stricter fire restrictions are in place for the County of Forty Mile No. 8 and Cypress County.
